Part 3 — Turning Pain Into Purpose

For a long time, my story felt like a string of losses — my grandfather, my brother, a dear friend, and nearly my own life. Each one left a mark so deep it was hard to breathe, let alone dream. But grief can also be a quiet teacher. It shows you what matters, and if you let it, it can push you toward purpose.

Out of my own pain and a desperate need to keep my brother’s memory alive, 7 Semicolon Couture was born. What started as a way to honor him and others we’ve lost has become something so much bigger — a movement to say, you’re not alone, your story isn’t over, and your pain can become something beautiful.

Fashion is the language I know — a way to let people wear hope, to start conversations that matter, and to help fund real mental health support. Every piece I choose or create is a reminder: survival can be stylish, and healing can be bold.

This journey hasn’t been easy or glamorous. I’ve lost more than I ever thought I could survive. But standing here now — with a brand that gives back, a community that cares, and a mission bigger than myself — I know none of it was wasted.

If you’ve been following along, thank you. You’ve read some of the hardest parts of my story, but you’ve also witnessed the heartbeat of what’s next. There’s so much more to tell — the full story of rebuilding, hope, and how 7 Semicolon Couture became more than a dream.
